چکیده
Abstract. This paper presents the Australian edition of Catchment Attributes and Meteorology for Large-sample Studies (CAMELS) series datasets. CAMELS-AUS (Australia) comprises data 222 unregulated catchments, combining hydrometeorological time (streamflow 18 climatic variables) with 134 attributes related to geology, soil, topography, land cover, anthropogenic influence hydroclimatology. The catchments have been monitored decades (more than 85 % streamflow records longer 40 years) are relatively free large-scale changes, such as significant changes in use. Rating curve uncertainty estimates provided most (75 %) multiple atmospheric datasets included, offering insights into forcing uncertainty. dataset allows users globally freely access catchment drawn from Australia's unique hydroclimatology, particularly notable its large interannual variability. Combined arid CAMELS USA Chile, constitutes an unprecedented resource study arid-zone hydrology. is downloadable https://doi.org/10.1594/PANGAEA.921850 (Fowler et al., 2020a).

متن کاملAlgorithms for Segmenting Time Series
As with most computer science problems, representation of the data is the key to ecient and eective solutions. Piecewise linear representation has been used for the representation of the data. This representation has been used by various researchers to support clustering, classication, indexing and association rule mining of time series data. A variety of algorithms have been proposed to obtain...
متن کاملInstrumenting Wildlife Water Developments to Collect Hydrometeorological Data in Remote Western U.S. Catchments
In the arid western United States, wildlife water developments, or ‘‘guzzlers,’’ are important water sources for wildlife, and consist of impermeable roof structures designed to intercept precipitation and small tanks for storing water. Guzzlers are typically installed in remote midto high-elevation basins, where precipitation data are often scarce. In this study, small-game guzzlers were exami...

The annual numbers of road deaths in Australia 1950-2007 are shown in Figure 11.. Fatal crash trends since 1950 fall into four distinct phases. In the first phase covering the 1950s and 1960s, national fatality levels steadily increased to reach a peak of almost 4,000 deaths in 1970. The second phase covered the 1970s and saw fatality numbers remain at nearpeak levels of around 3,500 throughout...
